The End of the Line
5 minutes, paint on glass (1995)
Sometimes black and white are used to denote degrees of emptiness. If you go into a dark cellar and stay there, you will still be able to feel your surroundings through the gloom. There will still be sides, and it is contained. If, on the other hand, you are surrounded by whiteness, any object in it will provide colour and shadow. Bereft of objects (and objectivity), the mind will start to fill the gaps.

TEOTL uses these ideas to emphasise the importance of colour.
